Try turning the steering wheel from stop to stop until all feels normal, then check fluid level.

When the engine is cold and no noise, turn on the air conditioning, and see if the fan kicks on and you get the noise. Probably an out of balance fan.
Did you check to see if there was a recall?
A flashing CEL is serious, try not to drive the car until a fix. I had a similar problem with my Ford GT, new Iridium plugs fixed the problem....
I put a tee fitting into the brake line, 7 years and no problems.
Put mine on, no issues. I guess it depends on how fussy you are. My concern was the vent screens, a little cheesy. I don't know if factory vents fit.
I seem to remember someone used oven cleaner to remove the factory coating. When I did mine I just used 220 wet and dry and worked my way up to 800.
