I purchased a spoiler from Jon B for my 98 RT/10. It arrived primed but not painted. My bodyshop guy recently retired. Has anyone had experience with the Viper Red Paint? Do I need to find a "special" bodyshop to handle painting the wing? Is the Viper Paint known for being difficult to work...
My first few attempts to get the Viper up the icy incline did not go well. I could only make it about half way up then would just slide back down to the bottom. My biggest concern was a large silver maple near the bottom. So the Vioer ended up spending a couple nights outside uncovered in the...
The nice man maneuvered the Viper skillfully down my frozen driveway and the bright red car gently slid to a stop at the base of my icy and quite steep garage approach. I thanked him and then bid him and his son farewell and then proceeded to plan how I would accomplish getting the car the rest...
The Viper fired right up and the Russian gentleman and his son carefully backed it out of the trailer, speaking in Russia the whole time. The boy told me that he and his father fled Russia six months earlier to seek a better life in the U.S. At last my my Viper was here, well almost. It was now...
A few days later the car finally arrived, delivered by a Russian gentleman driving a Ram 3500 dually and pulling a long covered car trailer. He spoke very little English but he was accompanied by his 15 year old son who spoke it rather well. Did I mention that this was all happening right smack...
I should probably mention that I purchased the car sight unseen and without my wifes approval. Did not even mention it to her until a couple of hours before the Viper was delivered. As you can imagine it did not go over well but darn it I didn't want to be talked out of this and I new she...
She's a red 98 RT/10. Gen 2 with 14,950 miles on the odometer. All original and purchased from a small dealership in the state of Kentucky on New Years Day.
Funny, so far I've only been able to drive it from the delivery trailer, down my long ice driveway to my garage at the top of the hill and it was quite an adventure as it all happened during an ice storm here in Minnesota. Those wide summer tires sliding everywhere. I've been turning the key...
I hope this obsession I have with the Viper never ends! My first Viper. Purchased January 1st 2023. 1998 RT/10. No modifications as far as I can tell. 14,900 miles. More pictures to follow...
Hello. Has anyone heard of smooth tubes that look corrugated on the outside? I like the look of the stock corrugated tubes but would like the benefits of the smooth tubes. Thanks.
