Just saw the wmv. I'm not in a politically correct mode, so I'll go ahead and say it: You need to get some driving lessons. You drive like a 16yr old boy that is high. The fact that power of the Viper helped you win your class doesn't mean you know what you are doing. You are dangerous.
All I can describe is what fell off the car. It's a piece of black steel that is about 2" long and is bent in a right angle.
The door opens and closes fine, but it does not stay open. It swings freely which is a pain when gettting out of the car to have the door come swinging back at you.
Ok, I read about this somewhere before, but I don't even know the key words to search on to find out the story on this. Any ideas on searches?
A little right angled piece of metal fell off the front of the door on my 01 GTS. It's the part that holds the door open. Can I fix this myself? Can...

How hard is it to check/replace the valve stem seals/guides?
Can they be checked and, if necessary, replaced without removing the head itself, just the valve covers?
Thanks!
You'd think they would take the time to cover the red overspray in the wheel well with some flat black spray paint.
Wonder what kind of damage caused the paint job? Could be another reason it's so cheap besides the economy...
Re: Please, let\'s ask D/C to do something about the \"heat\" issue with SRT!
Anyone know how much this heat kit and the additional components cost? It bugs me when they don't post a price... Makes me feel like they will make a number up when you call based on how much they can soak me for...
Here's a trick for protecting the floor (tiles, epoxy, or in my case MotorMat): Thin sheets of fiberboard that you buy at Home Depot.
It's very light and very strong. Much better than metal or wood. Wood is too thick and adds unwanted height, and metal is too bulky.
I had the XJ8 jacked up...

First thing, first: Go somewhere else! Archer is not know for their Viper competence. Try Northwest Dodge, or call/e-mail Prashant for a recommendation.
I live 5 miles from Archer, and I wish I could trust them, but everyone warns me against them.

Any benefit to polishing and smoothing the insides of the throttle bodies? I heard someone recommend this mod and am wondering if anyone else has tried it.
Sounds like they are trying to make some unjustified warranty dollars at your expense.
How does the car run? Does it shake like crazy because it's running on only 9 or less cylinders? I am guessing not, because you only mentioned the check engine light as an indication of a problem.
Has the...
Well, no matter what, your "partner" is going to win the Ugliest Car Award.
I think you would save a lot of money by attending couples counseling to learn not to be so competitive with your lover.
