I have a stock set from a 1996 GTS. And MANY other Gen 2 parts that I will let go very inexpensively if someone comes and takes them all. Or the heads can be shipped. Located near Dallas, TX. You?
I am pretty sure I have a complete set of the EMI A-arms if you are interested. I have laid eyes on one side and my mechanic is fairly certain where the other side is. Need any other Gen II parts? Have heads, hood, CDI side exhaust header system wiring harness, intake with injectors, OZ wheels...
There is a non-electrical (mechanical) way that I used once when a woman locked her keys in her Gen II at a race track where I had a race shop. PM me for details.
Thank you very much for the input. It seems very little trouble to try E-bay first as opposed to transporting the car to an auction with an uncertain outcome. My wife is good with photos and hosting sites (and motivated to turn the car into $$) so we should be good there, but absent your...
I have never bought or sold a car on E-Bay or through one of the car auctions Anyone who can give me input on how their experiences with these has been would be appreciated. I am hoping to sell my ACR-X. It is in great condition with a new Arrow rebuild and all Dodge Viper Cup allowable...
2 rebuilt Tremcs are now in the classifieds. These were the transmissions in my PST race Viper before I switched to an EMCO box. Never run since rebuilt.
Just posted a bunch of Gen II parts to the Classifieds. These are off my PST racing Viper and include a Hood, two stock Seats, cylinder heads and more - all for a single low price. Pick up only near Dallas, TX. Hopefully since we (PST) are a site sponsor this is not running afoul of any site...
I might. I have tons of Viper diecast cars from a Sheriff's sale where I purchased a Viper business' inventory. I will be where this stuff is Saturday and will look. Are you only interested in 1:18 or any size in that color combo?
Dave
I think I have one from my 1996 GTS. It is now a full on race car so I do not need it. If I can find it it is your gratis. I will look here tomorrow and at the other possible location Thursday and let you know.

I have a 1996 GTS remote key fob. PM me if you want it and I'll send you my address. Mail me a small, padded, self-addressed stamped envelope and it is your. Gratis.
I have a 1996 GTS hood for sale in the Dallas area!
I thought it was OK to say the above but not to quote a price - that's what I was told a year or so ago - when I did post a price.
I have two off my 1996 GTS. Complete with glass. Fully functional when removed. Blue out, black in. They were on the car when it was in SCCA T-1 trim so they have had vinyl graphics on them for ten years. I would count on a repaint being required - even for a blue car. Need anything else...
My 1996 GTS took 1st in GT-U and 1st overall Sunday in the NARRA event at Texas World Speedway. The field contained, among others, 5 Comp Coupes and 6 ACR-Xs - 2 of which were running nitrous!
Thanks for the photos! A 1:36.8 is stupid fast. I was afraid I might have missed one faster than the 1:37.3 I saw. Thanks for setting the record straight on that.
There were two GTU races. one Saturday and one Sunday. Bomarito won Saturday and I won Sunday (only because Jonathan had to leave catch a flight before the race). He had the fast time of the weekend at an incredible 1:37.3. I saw that time - he may have had even better that I missed. The SW...
Did something similar for a young man here in Texas, Oscar Gomez. Oscar passed away earlier this year. He really liked seeing his name on the car (my wife's doing).
My 1996 GTS was the timing cover gasket. My leak was actually visible when revving the engine up to about 3,500 RPM or so. You might try that. Apparently the increased oil pressure at that RPM was enough to make the leak visible. My gasket needed replaced. I took it to the dealer in full...
I think I have one of the Bobby Archer ViperSpeed kits that was SCCA certified for T-1 back in the day. I'll check this weekend if you are interested. Likely used. Jon B used to sell them as well. It does require cutting the fascia at the bottom edge so if that is a non-starter, let me know...
