Woodhouse installed my new mounts on my 98 GTS after installing a Paxton five years ago. I never noticed any increase in vibration although it seems many do, at least initially.
I would guess that something is incorrect with the installation. Mark J installed these for me a year ago, and I know everyone talks about some increased vibrations, but I never really noticed any increase at all (and certainly not anything objectionable or irritating).
I started a thread in the "Collectibles" Forum about doing some "Viper theme" temporary tattoos (for my kid and other kids at car shows). See the link, below.
I realize that "Sneaky Pete" or "Fangs" might have some copyright issues, so I'm wondering how difficult it would be for the KC club...
Neil- Thanks for pointing out the "smaller quantity" option.
JonB- Thanks for the offer. I've never had the opportunity to order from you, but thanks for all you do for the Viper community.

I wonder if it's possible for one of the regional clubs to do some "official"...
I've "looked and looked" for some Viper-themed catalog-stock temp tattoos, but I've never been able to find any (although some non-Viper ones are pretty cool). JonB mentioned in a post that he had a few, but they're not on his website, and I don't want to take his time on such a small-dollar...
Mark- Like most of your other customers, I don't drive the Viper much in the winter, but do you have a general sense as to how much "attention" Paxton users pay to this 25 degree restriction? (For warranty purposes, I know they "have to," but I sure don't see much discussion about this.) I'm...
When I take my 6 year old boy to car shows, I sometimes "give him" a temporary car-themed tattoo.
I'd like to have some red or black "Sneaky Petes" custom made (assuming no trademark issues would prevent that?), but I don't really "need" 1000 of them. Below is a link to a website that charges...
The Paxton Supercharger "Street Owner's Manual" contains a statement (quoted below) concerning "cold starts" under 25 degrees F (Paxton says doing that can lead to "immediate failure").
I never see much (if any) discussion on this restriction, and I'm wondering how "sensitive" the Paxtons...
Would you have any other vehicle available for those winter days when snow or ice is on the roads?
For about 5 years in Kansas (15-20 inches of snow per year), I had a C4 Vette as my only car. I had to "hitch a ride" with others on some heavy-snow days, but it was mostly workable.
My GTS isn't yet back in action (although it won't be long now), but we had our first Wichita get-together of the year this morning. Just one Viper, but we had a nice collection of rides.

Update on the Friday Night Show scene-- The show at the SW corner of West and Central (at the Plaza West parking lot) is really taking off nicely, and the crowds are nearly as good as the Backyard Burgers crowds were last year and seem to be building each week. (The rival show at Bigs [at Ridge...
Thanks to Mark J and the rest of the Woodhouse crew, my previously-bone-stock GTS now has a Paxton Supercharger and a Corsa exhaust. :) The picture quality leaves something to be desired, but below is a link to some video.

The "f-chat" group gets together about every month or so (watch the f-chat.com Wichita thread for details). In addition, we usually have at least one Viper (and sometimes several) at the Friday evening shows (last year those events were at Backyard Burger; this year they're at Big's at Central...
That would be me. Mark and crew did a great job of Paxton-izing my GTS (I got it back last Wednesday, and have put about 200 miles on it). As others have noted in this thread, I think it's important to have an experienced shop do the installation. We also had DC Performance do a flash on the...
We had two Vipers at the Big's show last night (DylanGTS and me) and two Vipers at our periodic Saturday morning breakfast-and-drive today (Darell and me). Some pictures from this morning--
The Viper is back from Woodhouse, and if the weather holds, I'm going to try to make it to the Friday night show at Big's (Central and Ridge) tomorrow night. I know it's late notice, but if anyone else can make it, great.
Mary and Kurt- Thanks for thinking of your Wichita friends! Rather than subsidizing anything down here, we're really going to try hard to get to some KC weekend events this year (your Friday evening gatherings look like great fun; the VCA meetings are a bit tough, being mid-week).
By the...
Update on the new Bigs location for the Friday shows-
Mike Berry talked about the new location in his "Wichita on Wheels" column in today's Wichita Eagle (I've attached a link to the story).
I checked out the new location last week. It should work fine. We won't have any shade, but it...
The rumor is that we have a new Friday night show location (starting late March or early April, depending on the weather)-- BIGS Bar & Grill, located at 7011 W. Central (southeast corner of Central and Ridge Road). I hope it's true... I'll post if I hear more.
