I vote with Broom on getting those tires as soon as you can. Give Jon B a call at Parts Rack ... he can give you some good input on the differences between tires and usually has pretty good prices. There are tires other than the PS2's, each with their own pluses and minuses and all cheaper...
That's the one that showed up a few months back and it works GREAT! I bought and used it during this last Texas summer and it made a HUGE difference. Well made and well worth the cost.
Great time and the new 'tunnel' in North Dallas is an AWESOME run... funny how it doesn't take too long to get through it when you're going a mile or two over the limit. :drive:

Jory, If you wait until your tires have the tread all gone, you're probably going to have an 'issue' that will cause you to regret that decision. The original tires are way too old to rely on for safe traction when you least expect it (and likely, MOST need it!). Considering the car sitting...
If you're running stock rims as you say, your choices are going to be cut down some. I've been running the Michelin PS2 tires on my Gen II and been happy the balance of traction and longevity. There are other brands available with varying traction and price. Call Jon B and see what he has on...
