Works... but not recommended. You are still having excessive partial discharge/charge cycles that are not necessary. Buy a float charger, and leave it connected 24/7.
Since everyone is not putting these cars away for the season...
NOW IS THE TIME TO BUY A PROPER BATTERY TENDER!
The Noco Genius line is excellent- wall mounted, multi-vehicle float charging options. Hands down the best option out there.
You have to appreciate the irony of your post... and yet you haven't responded to my comments, nor noticed where I was located. I could probably hit you in the head with a rock from here!
If you have an actual problem you need solved, post it up! Just because I may choose to not do certain...
I debated about whether to post or not. Because the fact is, you are both right... and wrong, for multiple reasons.
What you describe is just reality. Do you really want the same guy who is painting your car and sanding bondo all day, building your engine? Do you really want the guy who is...
Short and sweet... I'm an idiot who apparently cant read. Crimped the first two hose ends on before realizing they were supposed to be QD for this customer!
I have (2) sets of Pro-Plus No-QD line sets for a Gen-5 application that I will be finishing out today. These are the adapter-less...
A maintainer of that type should be perfectly fine. I do however advise replacing them every 10 years, or after any type of electrical surge issue in your home.
You mean the contact info thats right in my signature in the first post? Or the contact info that's on my About page? Or the Signature in my about page? Or the website in my profile? Or private messages? or conversations? I cant spam the board with redundant contact info, that would get old real...
Check fan wiring at the fan solenoid. They often break inside the insulation and look like they are intact, when they arent. Pull the wires one at a time... one will usually pull out of connector or stretch/flex way too much.
Flush the system again, and filter what you remove after running it...
In general, this is not a common complaint for G3+, as you have to be pretty far on the pedal for A/C cut to occur.
The first thing you should do is make absolutely sure you dont have some other weird issue. A TPS sensor out of range can cause this. I assume you have no codes? Do you have a...
It means change the programming so that it is harder to have the A/C compressor disengage during throttle changes.
It sounds like either you are lugging the engine, very aggressive on the throttle, or for some reason your car is cutting off the compressor earlier than they typically would...
Bill,
You are incorrect, trust me. What you are stating applies to Gen-1/2 cars, NOT Gen-3+. 2003+ has no vacuum actuators of any kind in the HVAC.
Gen-2/3 *BOTH* have an A/C compressor disable tied to TPS, but Gen-2 also loses actuator vacuum, causing the vents to close under high load which...
Boiled down:
For Gen-2/3...
SCT has more capabilities, but is harder to understand if you arent familiar.
HPT is handicapped and loaded with gremlins.
Logging ***** on both, if you can get it to work.
Older ELM based Palmer equipment seems to have the best logging options, as they were...
We actually have rolls of the OEM tape used to make these harnesses.
As pointed out, you need to lift that off when warm, unwrap, check all the wiring for damage, and if OK, Re-Wrap, and ideally install a thermal protection spacer/wrap after its repaired so that it doesnt continue to cook the...
You probably arent wrong.
The rapid turnover the last few years has resulted in a rather clueless crop of new owners who absolutely refuse to learn the "old ways", and would rather allow Facebook to tell them how to live their lives lol.
ITS A SHAME!
Still available.
If anyone goes and buys this stuff brand new at full price before calling me......... jesus.
Most of this stuff is still in sealed packages.
