Successfully smogged without any issue. Got temp tags. Added the Viper to my insurance, replacing the Miata on my policy, and was super surprised to find that swapping the Miata for the Viper only made my insurance go up by ~$200 per year for full comprehensive coverage. Nice!- MrWoolery

Took delivery last night of this new-to-me 2001 GTS. Looking forward to getting to know the car. Have driven about 10 miles so far (just to go fill it up with gas). Today I'm hoping to get temp tags and get it smogged. But for now, it's resting in the garage with its stablemates :)- MrWoolery
