    93 Parking Brake Lever Fix?

On occasion, the brake lever doesn't engage the cable or it pops "loose" as I apply the parking brake. How do I fix this?

I AM SO FREAKIN MAD LAWYERS NEED YOUR HELP

So why would you care at all? If you have a clear title with no liens, it says so. If you have a lien the title says so. It's not as if the fact you have loan lien is a big deal except during the payoff. Chesterfield County isn't the only place you'd sell the Viper. Again, willing sellers...

    Stolen Car Cover

I thought I might as well throw this out to see if I can recover it. The car cover of my RT was stolen from my car near Sines' in Richmond, Va on 11/7/03 between 7:30 and 11:15 PM. I had the alarm on, but the vibration sensitivity set to low as it was in a heavily trafficked area. The cover...

    cold storage

The rotors have a tendency to get some light rust on them and can bind to the brake pads. It also keeps you brake line from stretching over the winter.

    cold storage

Also: Keep the gas tank full to reduce the chance of condensation. Add some fuel stabilizer to the tank. Put the battery on a float charger. Make sure you leave the parking brake off. Cover it with a breathable cover. Your done.

Vette vs Viper Vid VIR viper days revisited

Heck, I ran a 2:14.849 (87.2 mph avg.) at VIR back in May. The fast guys in this class are running 2:11's and 2:09's in the same car. Not bad for a little 2 cylinder, 500cc, SCCA F-5 car with bad spec suspension!

Check out the steps to lower one's self into the crankcase area. I assume the electric motor is the starter?

    SRT-10 in St. Maarten

I agree on the St. Maarten roads. They are horrible. we rented a beater and it was bottoming out everywhere. The goats and chickens do add an element of suprise. Did you lay down on the beach when the jumbo jet landed? (Air France?) Our towels got moved and we got blasted with sand. It was...

Worst day of my life I lost my snake!

Man bites dog....rare news Viper crashes on a joy ride and a kid injured? Rarer news. One would think there would be a newspaper article he could submit as evidence.

    WHO GETS THE BEST MPG?

I've gotten 24.5 at 60 mph. The Valentine was going off all day long. 93 R/T, K&N's and straightpipes, no top.

have any of you ever wired in your own compressor?

It doesn't need to be hardwired if you use a 230V plug in receptacle. If 230 V, the motor should list the amperage load on the name plate. It's probably 20 or 30 amps. You can use a HACR breaker whcih has a little more resistance to tripping. There are 4 wires in a 230 V circuit. 2 Hots...

    Hard Top Troubles!

If it broke off in the metal, just drill and tap the next larger size. No big deal. Heat will sometines make it looser as well. I've also seen really good welders tack weld a stud onto the broken part and back it out. Then switch to grade 8 or AN fasteners.

    Clutchless transmission?

I've done it once just to see if it can be done, but I can shift my 93 RT now without a clutch. You just have to get the momentum and shift times aligned.

Audio Problems -Door Speakers Not Working

When mine went out, it was the RCA plug in the trunk that had a broken wire at the molding. Try a jumper wire from one side to the other first or swap the amps. Also, make sure the amp is getting 12v.

(I need help) 5 Pt Harnesses Questions

mine's a 93, so i don't think i have that pedal adjustment. i just slide the seat close to the wheel when doing that kind of driving (rare for me to do this in the viper as i race an f5 for my andrenaline rush) the clutch doesn't have to hit the floor to do its job anyway.

(I need help) 5 Pt Harnesses Questions

length is not a big deal on the shoulders as the length is adjusted at the rear tie in point. it may be personal preference, but i find the pull down difficult to tighten. (i'm 5-8 145#, so i use up all the harness adjustment to the tight side.) i'd get the pull up lap adjusters. also, the...

    Help me find third gear!!!!

I had the same problem for a while. Palm on the stick, elbow above and off the center console and push with the whole arm. Resting your elbow causes you to move your arm in a curving motion. Try it with a pencil to see what I mean.

    Gas tank not filling up?

I had the same problem in my 93 for the first time last week. I thought it was a bad fuel pump nozzle. After 3 gallons and 10 minutes, I gave up. The next night, I went to a different place and the same thing happened. It kept foaming up. It was cold and my wife was with me so I had the...

Why are Vipers decreasing so dramastically in Price?

Paul's right, other than the stock market, the economy is still chugging away at a good clip. It sort of reminds me of a discussion a few years ago about whether you paid cash for your Viper or borrowed the money. About half said they paid cash for their toys. The other half borrowed the...

    Garage Floor Coating

Here's a few tips for making your coating last longer.... First- your concrete slab must be absolutely dried and fully cured. That means no moisture in the concrete or coming through the slab from underneath. If you are pouring a new slab, use 10 mil (NOT 6 Mil) polyethylene and overlap the...
