Ultimate street car update
That's too bad a Viper didn't win this year. I actually emailed him and told him I'd show up and drive the car for him a while back. I thought with 1000hp I'd be able to kick the hell out of everybody this year even worse. I really wanted a Viper to kill everybody at the roadcoarse again...- PMUM

World Challenge GT race from Laguna Seca....
The SCCA seems to do a pretty good job at making the cars competitive. At Laguna out of the 4 of the 5 different makes filled the top 6 positions. Attn Roadracers: Cooling issues
Sean's duct kit is pretty much the biggest and cheapest thing you can do to keep it cool. Frying your toes with the heater helps and I'm sure if you're willing to cut vents in the top of your hood, that'd help too. I had a big 4 core radiator in Big Boy (540 rwhp) with the duct kit and it...- PMUM

Viper Crash at Speed World Challenge
I got a pretty good look at McClure as Galati and I were in the midst of passing him when he went off. He definitely did not come out of the gas because I was right next to him when he went off and watched him try to gather the car up. That's the difference between pro racing and club racing...- PMUM

SoCal, when I said 'stock' I meant as delivered from the factory. Having StopTechs and a full race alignment is not 'stock' (unless you use the Tom Glenn Cheaters Dictionary). An alignment alone on a street car is worth an easy 1-2 seconds minimum. Also, different days yield different times...- PMUM

Competition Coupe settles the questions!
That Comp Coupe was extremely well sorted. On Monday, Mike McCann, Bobby Archer and Rob Foster were allowed to drive it around the track and all 3 of them thought it was amazingly well sorted (I wasn't allowed to drive it...I guess they thought I'd drop in a cheater motor on the back straight...- PMUM

I totally disagree. Porsche defectors are nearly useless and the stock brakes really do suck. I ran a LOT of track events in 3 years with my '98 Viper with just the aforementioned setup (deflectors, pads, better fluid) and I would've saved a bundle if I had just bought a Stop-Tech kit...- PMUM
