I just wanted to make certain I got my application in for consideration. I'm willing to accept any position with the newly formed, "Viper Obsolete Parts Commissary." I'm ready to move immediately.
.
Just a thought, the VOPC should open three way communication with salvage and current Viper...
Has anyone considered the Gen5 seat in a Gen1 car? Is the same Sabelt seat available without the Viper tax? I'm trying to lower the seat further than the Northwinds kit already allows.
!!! HELP !!! My attorney suggests a speedometer calibration receipt or affidavit and driver improvement prior to court. Who does this kind of thing on the old GEN1? I live in NW Indiana.
Before the driving events began at VOI, we were told that we would be ranked on standings in quarter mile and autocross. We would be classified by GEN and upgrades. (A lot of work - thank you to the volunteers.) How can I look up those results.
I'm ready to install Stoptech's rear brake lines on my Gen1. Things just don't seem to line up right. The support bracket doesn't line up with any attach point and the banjo seems to be turned 90 degrees. I've double checked the part number 950.63504 and it is the recommend kit. Any advice?
I'm looking for a full set of DOT style Stainless Steel brake lines.
Stainless Steel tube and braided hoses that would fit my GEN1 car like OEM.
SVSi used to provide them. I don't know if they still exist.
Anyone know how to reach SVSi, the Misjak's,
or another vendor that might have a...
I remember Dodge gave us a copy of a Viper commercial a way back when. The commercial featured a red Gen2 racing though a road cut into a lava bed. I'm not sure that I still have my copy. It would help if someone with a better memory than mine, can remind me if it was on tape or disc? What...
Is this article about the 2006 Solstice, 1992 Viper or maybe the 1965 Mustang?
I’ve missing all the great Viper events this weekend. Instead, I have been busy, at work, reading this weeks' Autoweek from cover to cover. The magazine has a great picture on the cover of a hot, little, red...
My bolt-on modified Gen1 Viper has been on the dyno a few times now. The engine has
always run lean but the A/F was steady. Now that I've bolted on some underdrive pulleys
the A/F is leaner and more erratic - touching +16:1 at several points. What did I do
wrong. How can I bring things back...
As, Tim Allen would say, “MANLY day.”
Indiana/Kentucky managed to get sixteen cars on the same DynoJet.
Why the freek does my Viper run LEAN.
Again, Why do Vipers run RICH if you remove the catalytic convectors?
Then after discussing combustion theory, a stop in LaPorte, IN for the annual...
~ Running a on a DynoJet with a somewhat cool engine (NOT HOT) ~
Are there any hints on how the bring the Dyno reading up to your cars fullest potential? I've heard that strapping down the car and tire pressure will effect the readings. Well, let's effect them to our advantage.
~ Hints Please ~
AutoWeek\'s Solstice Article
I was reading the same stuff some fourteen years ago. Autoweeks' on-line archives don't go back quite that far, but my pre-OBD mind can feeblely recall all the Viper articles of the early 90's. Change the names Francois Castaing and Roy Sjoberg to Mark Reuss and...
I bought two sets of racer dollies, from Eastwood ($80 per pair), for the first winter storage. Now, nine years later, this product is on sale at Menards. For $30 a pair, you will get a better paint that wont rust as easily.
I bought the dollies so that I could move the parked car around...
Today, I came across my 1992 sales Viper brochure. It is still in the envelope that Chrysler mail it dated June 1992. The pages crackle when I open it and some are stuck together near the binding. Does anyone have an idea on how to loosen things up before the shinny ink sticks to the wrong page?

What the heck is this on my car?
Michelin pilot SX. It's got the MXX3 tread pattern so that is what I thought I had.
Not XGTs
Not MXX3s
Not pilot sports
What is this stuff?
I've found a local company that will replace the rubber hose on my stock brake lines. The advantage is saving big $$$ and retaining all the OE brackets.
Has anyone else tried this?
Does anyone make SS braided lines w/OE type brackets?
