I'm curious to how much more refined the SRT-10 is compared to say, my old 98 GTS? I'm thinking of selling my Z06 and buying an SRT-10. I would like some feedback from some of you who have logged some miles. You should have a good idea of the two knowing that you have had both generations...
Its actually a very good question. On the highway I almost never use 6th gear at 70 mph. It hits that resonant frequency and is quite annoying. I usually leave it in 4th.
Congratulations. These cars are amazing.
As far as a picture goes. You need to upload them to a server and direct us to that picture via URL. Then we can view it.
I have no idea why I thought of this but it just keeps nagging me. Does anyone know how much more our cars will weigh after the recall kit is installed? Forgive me if you have discussed this before. I don't get in here much.
I called the dealership and asked what the kit weighs or the parts...

Just thought I would give props where they are due. We had a local dyno day here in KC and had a wonderful time. Gear Grabbin' Gary stole the show with his newly returned Gen I RT/10 from Doug Levin. Here is a dyno sheet to make you smile.

Yup, another KCVCA member running some serious trap speeds. Mathew ran a 120 MPH just before I left for the day. Here is a picture and a video.
What a beautiful car. Mathew in the staging lanes.
Here is Mathew in action. http://typhoon.missouri.edu/~norman/temp/mathew.mpg
Just curious what most people here use for driveline loss. I was using 12% and have noticed that most Viper and Vette owners say it is closer to 15%. I know this is very subjective but want some consistency here. Had a guy over at another board tell me it is more like 9%. I kinda laughed to...
What a beautiful car. I heard it went 121 MPH. I know it would go faster if I were driving it.
I heard this guy is not like a typical Viper owner. I heard he is nice.
Had a great time. Here are the results.

\"S\" RT/10! What\'s the \"S\" stand for?
I can't believe I had to ask this. I just called it the RT/10. What is the "S" for? Will it be on the car's emblem or just a designation for us to distinguish the old from the new?
I contacted my local Dodge dealership about a small door panel problem. He told me that it is not part of the Chrysler warranty. I know some of you have a good repore with your viper techs and have had warranty work cover interior. I am not so lucky. If you have any input, please throw it my way.
This person has no idea I am posting this. Matter of fact, they don't even know this video exists. haha See if you can guess what VCA member is behind the wheel.
