I bought my Viper 5 years ago from Todd at Naples Motorsports. Great guy and great to deal with.
They have the FIRST Viper GTS ever made coming up for sale. A 2K mile 1996 Blue/White Stripes GTS previously owned by a Chrysler CEO.
What a piece of history......

Seems to me that late 1960's and early 1970's muscle cars are appreciating at a rate of 20-30% a year. It would appear to be a sound investment if you do your homework and get the right car. Also, a nice investment that can be enjoyed as it's appreciating. I bought a 1979 Special Edition Trans...
I was in Port Jeff tonight in the Harley Davidson store and the guys were telling me that they have established a "Bike Night" on Thursday nights at Paula Jeans Supper Club in East Setauket. For those that don't know, Paula Jeans is an excellent Cajun restaurant with fabulous live music (mostly...
Got her a Boxster for our Anniversary.
She's a little timid about driving the Viper so this is a great "fun" car for her. I have to admit, it is a lot of fun. It's a 1998 with 12,000 miles.
Needs some personal touches. First up are some 18' wheels.
After long deliberation I decided to go with 3 mil. vinyl stripes. I chose white diamond pearl (a white metallic pearl color).
I figured I'd live with this for the summer and if I liked it I would have them painted on. Thanks to John from Combined Auto Body in Commack, Long Island for an...

The weather has been so bad in New York the Viper has been in the garage more than out. A good time to install some additions. Since the Push Button Engine Start was one of the few things I liked about the '03 Viper, I decided to add one to my '99.

Just installed these new brushed aluminum racing pedals with high impact plastic inserts to match the exterior color of my car. Installation was easy with no drilling. Best part is the $30 price tag. Thanks to JMandela for the tip and providing the vendors web site at www.mach3accessories.com
Is it just me...
Am I the only one who feels it was totally unecessary to have a new Viper logo?
Why "Fangs" in lieu of "Sneaky Pete"?
Corvette has had the same crossed flags logo for 50 years.
Mustang has had the running horse for almost as long.
Trans Am was identifiable from it's fire...

Who's coming?....
A while back some of us were discussing ways to jazz up the embossed emblem in the center of the steering wheel. Here is what I came up with. I got a lapel pin off of ebay (chrome plate and enamel). I ground off the pin from the back and adhered it to the steering wheel with some 3M automotive...
My wife got me one for Christmas. It's very nice and a real conversation piece. If $1400 isn't a major hit for you, it's a nice addition to your home or office.

Zaino appears to be the odds on favorite on this board. I've used it and it's great stuff.
I've taken to Formula 113 lately. I'm seeing the same results when compared to Zaino with much less time and elbow grease.
I think the web site is www.formula113.com
