The Mid South club is actually pretty active.(www.midsouthvca.org) They have a casino cruise each year from Shreveport, and they have a fall foliage tour each year also (Oct 20th this year). Insurance value
I have 2 Vipers, a '55 Chevy, and a '32 Ford all insured with Hagerty. All for agreed upon value. I pay right at 2000.00 a year for full coverage on all 4 vehicles. I think thier rate is like 6.00 per 1000.00 of coverage for stock vehicles, and 15.00 per 1000.00 of coverage for modified...- Doc.

We didn't have any damage up in North La. I have seen quite a few folks at the hospital who evacuated and made there way up to Shreveport. How Hard is Installing Headers and Exhaust System
Gary, If you have any mechanical skills its a pretty straight forward install. I did mine in the garage by myself. I then drove it down to the muffler shop without the side sills and had the cats welded up. I say go for it. Doc.- Doc.

Racers, how do you beat the heat?
The cool shirt is the only way to fly. My system also has a helmet blower that blows cool air into the helmet.Be sure to get the quick disconnects that will just pop off when you get out of the car without disconnecting the hoses. Anything that reduces driver fatigue will make you a better...- Doc.

My Car Pulls When Braking!
Carrot, I had the same thing happen to me on my GTS. Normal driving was fine but if you were hard on the brakes at the end of a long straight it nearly pulled the wheel out of your hand.. We put on new tires, brakes and an alignment but the problem was still there. Bobby Archer drove the car...- Doc.
