Has anyone had any luck getting in touch with Custom Calendars to pay for their calendar order? I have tried calling them (206-780-0274) but haven't actually been able to speak with anyone yet. I left a message once but received no return call. Are they off this week for the holidays?
Those of us in the VA/MD VCA had a Dinner Party last night which was a lot of fun. Thanks to all who made it happen, it was a great party! After dinner I was presented with this cake (my birthday is 12/23), talk about a shocker! Special thanks to my wife and Mr. & Mrs. Mopar Steve for the...
Re: Read this quote from a \"former Viper owner\"
Did he actually post 1990-1996 or was that your typo? ZR-1 production ended in 1995. If he's so in love with his Vette you'd think he'd be more knowledgeable.
I was having a bit of difficulty snapping my belts into the camlock. After further inspection I found the screws on the back of the camlock had all came loose. The passenger side was loose as well but not as bad as the driver side. Everyone with Team Techs might want to take a quick look just...
More than a few of us 96 GTS owners have been through oil leaks. There is a ton of info on this board, try doing a search for "Oil Leak". Good Luck with the leak, I hope it's something simple.
I'm looking for the 1996 Issue of Motor Trend that has the 1996 GTS in it. It may be the one labeled "Top Speed Shootout" if I remember correctly. Does anyone have that issue that they are willing to part with? (I'll pay) Or what specific month is the issue, I can try to get a back issue from...
If you look under the hood of your Viper, where the hood and the hood hinge bracket meet you'll find 2 grounding straps. Our hoods are not made of metal and there are no powered accessories on the hood, why would Dodge feel the need to add the grounding straps?
PS VIPERS RULE!!!
I have Belanger Headers/Cat-Back with RT High Flow CATS and it sounds awesome! The deep rumble is exactly what I was looking for. It's a bit loud (for some people) going from 1rst to 4th under load but once your in 5th under light load conditions it isn't much louder than stock, from the...
Went for a short blast in the Viper tonight, as I pulled into the garage I smelled something burning, smelled like plastic. When I came to a stop in the garage I saw smoke coming from under the hood....YIKES!!! (that's not what I said but I can't print what I really did say) So I fly out of...
Isn't this how we all feel inside when we are with our Vipers? This is a pic of my nephew the first time he saw the Viper, I understand his excitement!
Anyone who has installed RT CATS, did you have an odor come from them when they are hot? If so, how many miles did it take for the smell to go away? My RT CATS smell like they are new and just burning out the "new" smell, I have about 100 miles on them. Thanks in advance.
Heffner\'s Performance
I had Jason Heffner install my Belanger Headers/Cat-Back and RT High Flow CATS today, now my car sounds great! Jason is awesome, I was able to sit and chat with him while he installed my exhaust system. How many mechanics are comfortable with being watched while they...
I recently installed a Ripper in my Viper, for those of you into numbers......
Stock Shifter Throw.......4.75"
Ripper Shifter Throw......3.00"
About 37% less travel.
Toughest part of the install was removing the trim panels, mostly because I was afraid of cracking/scratching them. Once the...
Hat\'s off to Buhler Dodge!
I would just like to thank Darren and the guys at Buhler Dodge for fixing my Viper. I had an oil leak which turned out to be a porous block and I hadn't owned the car long enough to use my extended warranty to get it fixed. While on the phone Darren told me to...
I recently received a new engine from Arrow Racing, my 96 GTS block was porous. While on the phone with Todd from Arrow Racing, he offered me an ACR Oil Filter Adapter free of charge. Price was right so I took it , he claimed that the ACR part had better oil flow than the stock oil filter...
My engine is on it\'s way to Arrow.
My engine was in the crate and on it's way to Arrow as of Friday 4/26. I am told I will be receiving a new long block assembly and that turn-around time for my engine will be about a week to a week and a half since Arrow has pre-assembled bottom ends and all...
I received my Ripper in the mail today. Once I removed it from the packaging and was inspecting it, I noticed that there are no stops to adjust the throw on the shifter body. Is this normal?
