    Gen1 plastic side windows

    I met a guy with a perfect set of Gen1 side curtains except there are light scratches in the plastic and little brown spots in the plastic. Do you think this is due to the heat? Is there anything that can be done? The canvas, foam, zippers and stuff all look brand new.

    What do you use to treat the rubber stripping? I now live in Phoenix and the stuff dries out here quicker than in MI. I recall a long time ago someone suggesting a GM product.

    How is hose connected to coolant bottle in facia

    I am tired of trying to remove the rubber donut and shine a light onto the side of that facia bottle only to guess at the level in the slot. How does the hose connect? Why can't I siphon the bottle empty and refill with the exact amount of ounces required to fill to the line?

    Is there insulation inside a gen1 sill?

    Guys, It has been a long time since I removed my 95 side sill exhaust covers. Is the insulation sandwiched between the heat shield with the rivits going all the way through or is there just the heat shield? Come to think of it, the heat shield might have insulation built into it.

    free gen1 rims and slicks

    I have a set of rear gen1 rims with slicks. They are sealed in plastic bags. Anyone in Phoenix can come pick them up for free. Slicks are old but probably would be fun to screw around with. They were mounted and balanced. I ran down the dragstrip with them twice.

    What type of coolant

    Changing coolant on 95. I searched threads and there are recent postings on the topic. The last I saw was that the current Mopar coolant used in 2010 vehicles is the best technology on the market. Good?

    AZ 92-95 owners no emissions testing

    Loophole in AZ emissions testing. If your Viper is 15+ years old, and you have low mileage insurance which can be considered collector insurance, you are exempt from emissions testing. I have to wait another month to drive in AZ.

    RC Model Oreca Viper

    0-60 in 3.2 seconds, all wheel drive, 70 mph in 1/10 scale. Painting the body, applying the decals, cutting everything out was an absolute pain but it was worth it.

    Ran with a SRT4

    I was heading up I75 and a Neon SRT4 came up behind me. We had a blast for 10 miles and went to 140 a few times as traffic allowed and that thing was hanging in there. I don't know the top speed of it but it was a blast. That would be a nice addition as a daily driver to the Viper.
