Love the Connely. My 02 Graphite GTS w/Connely was 1 of 30 made, stunning combo! I now have an 01 Red RT/10 w/Connely and still love the combo. IMHO looks very classy and it certainly isn't cheapo grain leather.
BTW-I've seen plenty of Ferrari's and Porsches with a similar Connely interior...
I was an avid AutoX'er back in 2000. ALthough I had always lusted for a viper since I first laid eyes on a Gen I, back in 2000 I actually got a ride in one on the course. What blew me away was the tree-pulling torque of this monster. This is coming from someone who grew up on 5.0 stangs. After...
I need a new bumper guard but ROE no longer sells their nice self adhesive front guard kit. Suggestions as to where I might find a similar product? Thanks...

I am located in Chula Vista and was luckily spared. Spent the last few days evacuating San Diego residents and searching for potential looters. A few pics from San Miguel Mountain...

Thanks for the replies guys.
Jon I'll go back to the beginning of this saga, I initially agreed to go ahead with a repair based on what appearead to be mostly "cosmetic damage". After three months of waiting and realizing the damage was more significant, I tried to get out of it completely...
Well no luck with the CA Dept of Insurance, the viper will be repaired.
New Problem-My case was closed in the spring of 2007 as a "No Fault Accident". I recently received a message stating that in light of the circumstances my claim will now be considered "At Fault". Nothing had changed, no...
Hood and front bumper are both used, otherwise your right it would have been an easy total since the hood alone is almost 20k. According to my policy, I appearantly have the rights to new parts only if the car is less than 3 years old.
Just received my letter from the Ins. Commisioner, they...
Thanks for all the advice, I have contacted the state insurance commisioner. I should hear something in the next 1-2 weeks. Most lawyers I have spoken with who deal in "bad faith" insurance don't seem very interested at this point unless I pay a retainer/hourly fees.
As far as a repair goes...
Well I'll get right to the point.
My viper was unfortunately wrecked last year..that's right last year. I've been waiting for a front frame section for over 8 months from Dodge. The part has been backordered forever with no release date in sight. So now they want to replace the entire frame...
Looking to possibly pick up a used set in good condition. How can I tell if they are the genuine 1 piece forged ACR's vs. the later 3 piece BBS design? Any special #'s or markings to look for? Thanks...

Scandinavian CoachCraft in West LA. I think they've probably done more hood realignments than anyone else on the West Coast. Owners are both Viper owners and they have worked on hundreds of them.

Friend of mine won a raffle for a 2000 Mustang Cobra R and paid right around 20k in taxes as well. Somewhat of a letdown after winning such a prize I'd imagine.

I absolutely love the Cognac interiors. It was one of the primary reasons why I chose my first viper, an 02 Graphite GTS(1 of 16). I think it looks especially sharp on graphite and black.
My current 01 Red/RT(1 of 100) also has cognac and I think it does compliment the car quite well. I have...
Re: Being investigated for having Vipers, Lambos, Porsches and Ferraris...L
Well said venms96. When someone goes totally over the line, spewing that kind of garbage they need to be called on it, there is absolutely no justification for that kind of statement.

ABS has saved my viper from a crash already once on the street since ownership over the past year. Had I been in a non-abs viper I would have likely locked up the brakes resulting in a front end collision. As noted, ABS is a great safety feature to have and it's also a nice feature for the track....
Ok, well I guess I see it more as a Gen 1.5. It benefits from the motor/suspension changes but the hood is still the Gen I style sans extractors and NACA duct. Either way for that $$$ I'd rather buy a 98/99 RT and paint it B/W....
Thanks for the responses, I've installed a vortech before on my mustang so I can't imagine a ROE being that difficult to take on/off if need be.
BTW-I will consider the paxton setup as well....
