Performance aside is the '08 really that more advanced/refined than the '06? I know the updates in terms of engine, clutch feel, etc but is the '08+ that much better overall to justify the big price difference? This will be my first Viper after years of being a fan but am I making a mistake by...
It's a MONSOON here in Dallas and with the drain no test drives. :( Black on black 5,000mi, no stripes. Wanting $75,000 but think the car could be had for $70K or slightly under. Question is when are the '08's coming out, may wait for the price to drop some before picking up a coupe??

The search for a SB/cognac '01 GTS is harder than I thought so I'm entertaining a SRT-vert. I tend to shy from first model year cars, but what about the '03? Or should I opt for an '04? What should I look for in buying used besides history/documents?
A friend of a friend is trading in his '99 black/silver stipe GTS and he told me he'd sell me the car rather than trading it in. I know it was well cared for so I'd probably give him a couple grand over just for the favor.

I was looking for a pre-creampuff GTS because of the forged pistons but now considering a '01+ for its ABS. I know for extensive mods Blower/Turbos/Large N2O shot it will need a piston swap but what about a mild shot say 150hp shot?

Why is the V10 considered a \"Big Block\"?
I ask this because I'm somewhat baffled. For those who do not know a "TRUE" BB is based on it's bore and configuration. The V10 has somehwat small pistons (Take a look at a 426 Hemi of a Big Block Chevy if you doubt me) compared to traditional big...
