Wondering if there were any people in the area interested in going to The Texas Round Up. All the info is in the activities thread. Might be something fun to do or caravan to.
Just wondering if there was a site or a place to go to see the activities that the KCVCA was holding. Some of us in NW OK might be interested in a few of the activities since we are not that far away at all. Thanks.
Looks like the armory and plane museum, been there quite a few times. Good looking car and congratulations. BTW thanks you for making my Sooners the worst BCS bowl team. Good win on both fronts.
Trust me I know for a fact that fast customer service, whether good or bad, is the key these days. In today's market you need to be on your toes every second to insure that whatever business is out there comes to you and stays to you.

I found it refreshing seeing how I must have missed the original post. I too was in a rollover, but in a Dodge Ram, rolled 5 times and flipped twice, good to see that someone looks out for some of us!
Do very many Vipers from that area go to the drag? Just wondering because I could definitely be interested since the wife and I go to all the OU games and I could just spend the night down there.
Did anyone on the boards here go? We were getting ready to leave and then all hell broke loose with the weather. I know, I know. I am one of those that never takes my car out in the rain.
I know its probably too late to confirm with others but a friend and I have decided to make the trek to Guthrie. We are leaving Tulsa around 8:30AM Hope to see some of you there.
According to the VCA response, the Porche Club in OKC allows them to run with them but the one here in Tulsa does not. My neighbor that runs the meets for Porche was a little confused by that because the one here is a regional part of the national club, just like we are in the OK region of the...
I just recieved word from the Porche Club President about the TCC autocross. It is for Porches only. He was a very nice gentleman that explained to me that it is not due to a Porche only mentallity, it is due to insurance reasons. The regional sponser just left my house as well to inform me of...
The thing that kind of perturbs me is that there is a notice going out about a Cruise in up in OKC but now no mention of this event. I have tried everything but to no avail. Unless I here of something by this evening I guess I'll do something else. Bummed:(
OK now I am confused. This was the response I just received:
Hi Jeff,
I do not know what newsletter you are referring too!
The Cimarron Region does not have an agreement with
the Viper Club to autocross this weekend. The only
people allowed to drive are members of the Cimarron
Region.
Bill...
FYI, this morning I e-mailed their main set up guy, so as soon as he e-mails back I will immediately post up here and maybe a new topic just to be safe.
I have been trying to get a response from the OK VCA to find out EXACTLY what is going on but have still yet to hear from anyone. The letter states people to contact but there are no numbers to do so. I guess we'll just show up and see. If someone knows a number to call I don't mind at all.
OK I just got done talking to him and it sounds awesome. They set up an autocross section up in the back of the campus parking lot. He said it was like $20.00, which sound low, and they do the times and all. I have never been to one but this sounds pretty fun. I think the wife and I are in.
The Oklahoma VCA newsletter said 8AM to 2PM at TCC at 81st and 169. Not sure exactly what is going on but I am trying to find out. Definitley down for that. I hope my neighbor brings his GT out there:drooler:
