If you have long legs forget it. The 2" lowering kit moves the seat 3" forward so if your inseam is 34" or more it makes the situation worse. The 1" kit helps but not much.
I have a 2" lowering kit if anybody want's it.
Beware the 2" inch lowering kit. It permanently moves the seat 3" forward of the back bulkhead. Too tight for me and I'm 6'2". Are you sure lowering the car will make it easier to get into?
Vipers are hard to flip but it has been done.
For performance on the street your best mods are 3.73 or...
I replaced the run flats but that didn't make much of a difference. I run the Moton's with the compression damping set on "0" and the rebound damping set on "3" although I'm going to try "2". This setup gives an improved ride and tracking on the street. Upgraded sway bars help too.

SRT-10 \"floaty\" above 110 mph?
The steering in my '04 SRT-10 was getting pretty light between turns 17a and 1 at VIR. I ran an aggressive street alignment at close to shock ride height. I was also detecting a dead spot in the steering right at center on that portion of the track. I used no...
Call Archerracing @ archerracing.com and ask for John. My SRT/10 was cooking it's pretty plastic. He has a new insulation setup that absolutely kills cabin heat (e.i. no AC required at 75F, haven't tried it hotter) and will stop the smell.
Re: They\'re Everywhere
Before you decide on a Porsche participate in a Viperdays event. You'll never understand what a Viper can do driving it on the street. (You should attend anyway to be a better driver behind 500+ ft-lb of torque.)
If you buy a Porsche you will probably learn having a...
Archer Racing\'s new insulation rules!
Just spent the weekend at Viper Days and absolutely no cabin heat on the track. Had the car on the road on a 75 degree day and also no cabin heat what so ever. Did not even turn on the AC. The car is even a little quieter. I am running the stock exhaust...
Thanks for the leads. I've just going to the school and it looks like Mid America is the only event I'll be able to attend until after July. If Courtney has something I'll post it.
See if you can rent an exotic car where you live. Then take that to the dealer and ask for a test drive. I rented a Gen.II. I think the Gen.II looks better than the Gen.III but the Gen.III is much more refined. If you rent a Viper they will come barreling out the door to help you. (They want the...
Yeah, I know. But the application chart describes the PXHCH3 as a DIN 8 pin, hence the confusion. I installed my RB1 yesterday and noticed the RBQ has the same 10 pin connector as the RB1. Does anyone know the it does on the RBQ?
According to the iPod2Car application guide the unit wants an 8 pin DIN plug for 2002-2004 DC applications. The changer socket on the back of the RB1 is square and has 10 pins. I'm wondering if the more car audio savvy members on this board have figured a work around. This unit is just too ideal...
