    Need a new motor ?

    Possibly to to numerous mechanical over-revs due to a crappy tranni ,Some large pieces of metal were attached to my drain plug.It is the opinion of the shop that I skip the rebuild and go for a new "crate motor".If this is the best way to go, whom do I go to for the best deal besides Ebay ?

    SVS saves the day....again

    Forget about my 911 brake posts.Ron jr.@ SVS Power came through with some Brakemen rear pads to keep up with my Pagids.If you're at the Autobahn this Sunday be forwarned that this combo has never been tested.I,ll be the one testing the new runoff areas.....I hoped they grated out the tree stumps.

    Help...need race pads now!

    I plan on tracking my 2001 GTS for the first time this Sunday.My rear race pads from pagid are wrong.The 2001-02 rear pads are different due to the ABS.I prefer a very hard/high temp low friction race compound.I will melt any EBC in two laps.The FMSI# for the rears is D599.     2001 GTS REAR PADS

    Does anybody have a picture of the rear pads off a 2001 gts.A tracing of the backing plates would be fine .Pagids part # for the rears was not right.I can't face R.Ring the rears with my needlenose again to get a picture. Thanx DaWing

    Same size tires/wheels all around for Track use ?

    I picked up my first Viper ( 2001 GTS ) this past saturday.I've been racing/lapping for about 16 years.I already met with Ron at SVS re: brake cooling.I forgot to ask him if I could run the same size Hoosier/Wheel combo all around,and in what size.I am willing to trade off some handling issues...
