Hey guys,
After a lot of thinking I've decided to sell my GTS. I purchased it at the end of April this year and have enjoyed the few months that I've owned it. I bought the car to replace the Harley I sold but as much as I love the Viper I need to get back into riding. The car scene just...
I think you're talking about HDR: http://dzineblog.com/2011/02/40-best-hdr-car-photos.html
In order to do that the right way you need an experienced photographer who will take multiple shots of your car with different exposures. The only reason I know this is because I had put out an ad looking...
If you guys wanna see high insurance rates come up to Ontario. They recently reported that we have the lowest claim rate in Canada but pay the highest premiums - go figure.
07 Avalanche, 96 Viper and house insurance @ $350/month
Not a big fan of the gold rims but I like the lower mileage on the first one. If you're going to buy new rims/tires anyway I'd go with the lower mileage one.
I just wanted to thank Garrett @ Raceway Chrysler for helping a fellow Viper owner last night. If you're not already taking your car to Garrett then you need to be! You will not beat his service.
My car stalled out on my at a stop sign yesterday evening. I gave Garrett a quick call who not only...
I kinda figured that he might have thought he was doing me a favor and "protecting" my car by parking next to it but you can't expect somebody to realize that unless it's another nice car like the Challenger posted above.
We should use this thread to post future pics of other idiot drivers who...
I popped in the store for 5 minutes and the parking lot was completely empty when I arrived.
Well, at least he left a lot of room between us but still - there were no shortage of spots!
Both the '96 and '97 had polished wheels. The cast on the '96s were porous and weren't able to produce as much of a shine as on the forged '97s.
The one in the second pic is just dirty and needs a good wash!
With a slow afternoon at work on this Friday I thought I would post an introductory thread and tell my Viper pick up story. Since I enjoyed reading other people's post about their drives back home I thought it would only be fair if I shared mine.
I flew down to Atlanta and picked up a mint blue...
Dave - YOU ARE THE MAN.
After reading your post I picked up the switch and played around with it. It "appears" to be threaded but it's actually not. I loosened and slid down the retainer, put the switch in a vice, and lightly tapped the ring around the switch to raise the plunger up. Put it...
Tommy, I can tell you my perspective as a new Viper owner who recently joined the VCA.
I'm not traditionally a "club person". Nothing against them but the main reason for buying any vehicle is for me to enjoy the car itself and not neccessarily the social aspect of owning a Viper. When I had my...
Cool, I will look into that the next time I'm at the store. In the meantime I have unplugged the switch so the alarm is now arming. I figure those who know how to open the hood on these cars will also be under the impression that the alarm will be triggered if done.
Thanks Steve.
So......Dave! It turned out that it was the hood switch (didn't see it back there). I've tested it by holding it down and setting the alarm. The light came on and the car chirped again 15 seconds later when the light started flashing. I've tried adjusting the rubber stop beside it even turning...
