    Atlanta raceway vipers.... wow....

I can't see the first video, but if it's the one of the Viper spinning out at turn 1, he was an idiot. I was at Road Atlanta that day, and the guys had just modified their Vipers and put slicks on them, but had little track experience. Both of them were being too aggressive and making bad...

    The Dodge DUCK!

Probably is, I got this from another forum and had never seen it before.

    The Dodge DUCK!

Thought you guys would get a kick out of this. If you turn the Viper emblem upside down, it looks just like Daffy Duck! :D:D:D

Ouch! Another one bites the dust.

My bad for the repost guys, I don't browse on here all that often. I actually found this on some site that's not even RELATED to cars, and it was a new post there. I know that people usually make posts here when they know about a Viper that has wrecked, so I posted it here.

Possible NWS for some of the advertisements and comments under the video. This is not good!! Moderator Edit. link removed due not only to NWS elements but inappropriate advertisments for the site rules. The link to the video is already been posted many times here and not from a nws site.

All performance cars are starting to look the same nowadays lol

    It still amazes me :)

Wow, I never knew that. I've been through Ringgold several times, and you are right about small and podunk!! Also, Maxie Price in Loganville (where I live) is one of the largest Corvette dealers in the country. When I got my Z06, they were 1 of only 3 dealerships in the US to get the first...

    Leavin' Vetts in the Dust

The learning curve for road racing is different for everybody, but probably the most important thing is knowing your car's capabilities. It's what hurts me a lot when I go on a road course, I just "guess" when I should start breaking and how fast I can take turns. Of course my confidence and...

    they all got together

Also, if you buy a California Duster, make sure you wrap it in Newspaper for a couple of days before using it, it will draw out all the wax from the fibers and will not leave any residue on the car when you use it.

    ran a zr1 with an 08 cpe

What kind of dyno is that on? That seems a lot lower than what I've been reading.

    ran a zr1 with an 08 cpe

I thought the ZR1's were dyno'ing about 535 from the factory, and the Vipers were around 550 - 560? And the Viper is only 100lbs heavier than the ZR1. ZR1 is 200lbs heavier than a Z06.

    ran a zr1 with an 08 cpe

Nice story! I have been wanting to run into both an '08 Viper and ZR1 in my car as well, but haven't seen either on the road. I think the '08 Vipers are typically dyno'ing a little higher than the ZR1's, aren't they?

Video: Viper ACR vs Lambo LP560-4

I don't want to take this thread off topic, but I have read where magazines are reporting that car to trap 130mph. I just don't see it happening. With the weight of the car and how much bhp it makes, NOT TO MENTION it being AWD, I just can't see the car trapping 130mph stock. This video...

Video: Viper ACR vs Lambo LP560-4

I just saw this video yesterday and was wondering who was driving the ACR. That is some FANTASTIC driving, 11.1 is unreal in that car!!! Great video!

    Pissed at Lingenfelter

Aries, I think I may have completely misunderstood this situation. Was this engine bought WITHOUT a warranty? If it was, then the route you have taken was probably a safe bet. If there was a major problem with the engine, yes what you are doing now is cheaper than trying to fix some sort of...

Doesn't look like they admitted to installing the wrong cam, to me. If you can't even understand written English, then I can't possibly get you to understand how the legal system works.

That doesn't prove that's what was in the engine when it was opened. There's nothing proving they didn't create the metal shavings while taking the engine apart. There's nothing proving the cam in the pictures wasn't damaged during removal. There's nothing proving the cam in the picture, is the...

Maybe you missed the part where a competing vendor tore the product apart and then made undocumented claims about said product?

    Pissed at Lingenfelter

BINGO! This is what makes a shop good to their customers or not. The thing is, Lingenfelter isn't admitting they put the wrong cam in, and as of right now there's no PROOF that they did. If they wanted, they could just go this route and say "You're SOL." But instead they decided to go ahead...

Aries, Please understand I am not making personal statements against that shop. I am taking a very objective approach, which is the way things are looked at from a legal standpoint. I am actually on your side, I believe this shop is being honest. But from a legal standpoint, having them...

I completely agree with Vipah. In fact, you have taken the words right out of my mouth. Aries, I am not bringing this up to argue with you....I am bringing this up, so that something like this doesn't happen in the future. I think you are lucky that Lingenfelter is doing replacing the cam...

Well I hope you can get this problem all sorted out, I really do. But in the future, I think having someone look at something is fine. But I would not advise you having someone else take the engine apart. I fear you may have put yourself in a bad position legally, as Lingenfelter may not be...

So if you have heard so many bad stories about Lingenfelter, WHY did you choose to buy THEIR motor? It just doesn't make sense. The way things work is the SECOND you crack open a product you've bought, you have voided the warranty. At this point, there is so little that you can prove. I'm...

I am really sorry to hear about this, and knowing the motor came from LPE, I know it wasn't cheap! However, you may have hurt yourself by having the engine disassembled. I know if I bought a new Sony TV, brought it home and popped the back off to make sure it didn't have a Funai tube in it, I...
