Ok, I took your advised. I resubmitted an ad using my work email and BAM!! It worked (well, I got a confirmation email) . Sending off the check today. Thanks Vipermad!!
Damn! Really? I know I didn't do a typo, but I did use my hotmail account. Is this the problem? I guess I should try again using my work email account.
P.S. are checks/money orders the only option? Do they take paypal? Thanks folks!
Thanks guys. I registered and placed the ad a week ago...just haven't recieved anything in email confirming it or asking for payment. I'm not a VCA member, so I'm waiting for the invoice via email. The $30 isn't a big deal for me.
Anyone ever place an ad here? I placed an ad about a week ago, but I'm still waiting to hear back about an approval or even an invoice...If I'm not wrong, is someone supposed to email me the invoice first? Thanks folks!
Sellin my \'97 Blue/white viper....tough decision...
Howdy folks...I've only owned this remarkble machine for a few months now, but alas, the company me and my buddies started have finaly started to shape up and I must free up some cash. This is soooo tough considering it was my dream car since...
I bought a maxcare package for my gts earlier. I know you can transfer it once to the new buyer, but what happens if you sell it to a dealer? When the dealer sells the car does the remaining warranty transfer over onto the new buyer? Thanks folks.
I used to own an NSX....awesome, awesome car. My only complaint was lack of power, but apart from that it was a great car. Very easy and fun to drive. The viper is just a whole other beast.
I've never had problems with my '97 B/W, but one thing I always do (if this is bad, let me know..) is turn the key on and wait for the "fuel pump" (I think thats what it is) sound to stop...this takes about 3 seconds, and then I turn the key all the way to start her up and she fires up easily...
I know a lot of cars disengage their AC when there is extra load on the throttle (ie accelerating to pass a car)....so I assumed my GEN II did the same thing.
So are you guys saying its not supposed to do that?
*edit...just read the other thread. Time to get the parts.
I'd add vinyl stripes. Alot of people here have done it and its hard to tell the difference. Even with factory painted stripes, there is a thickness to it and you can feel it under the clear coat.
With Vinyl, you can always remove it if you want.
Yeah, I remember reading about some kit where you cut out a part of your front bumper from underneath to help cool the car, but also to aid in aerodynamics (supposedly this car gets light in the nose at high speeds...something about pressure build up)...
I hit an animal with my NSX. Whole front bumper was destroyed. FIled with insurance, insurance took care of everything. No raise in premium (happened about year and a half ago) and nothing showed up on carfax. I'm in L.A.
BTW, to the other poster, the bumpers on GEN IIs are one piece. They...
