2 Fronts are 19.5 x 11
2 Rears are 20.5 x 14
3 out of the 4 are in great shape, with the passenger front wheel having some edge rash (as shown). I've been told it's an easy repair for a wheel restorer.
These must go - first person with $250 in hand and a truck for pickup in Silver Spring, MD...
I ended up using Piper Motorsport in Sterling VA (near Dulles). They did a fantastic job and I would recommend them for anyone needing a rollbar install, any sort of custom cage/tube work, or harness/seat work. Great group of guys there - call Robbie if you need any help!
:headbang:
Besides the fact that the wheel/tire combo is substantially lighter than the 10-spokes and runcraps (even without weighing them) and looks fantastic, the change in ride is amazing!!! Now I just need a Chrysler tirefit kit for the trunk - JonB, you sell those as well???
I'm going to be getting some new wheels and tires from Jon B and I need a shop in the MD/NOVA area that can:
Pull the TPMS sensors off my old 10 spokes
Mount the sensors on my new wheels
Mount and balance the new tires/wheels
Do a quality alignment
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for...
6-8 pounds??? I think you may be missing a digit there. Please let us know if you find out any more on this issue, I'd be interested to see what people say. I don't think I've ever seen it below 40, but I'm not an expert.
Jim S.,
It's Howard from Whetstone, we've met before (at Bruster's Ice Cream on 355). I don't know why I didn't think of Tony (as you know, Andrew has done the restoration on my '66). I'll give him a ring. Thanks!
Howard
It's time for 4 new tires and I'm looking for a place that can do the tire swap and alignment without screwing up the wheels or suspension - SUGGESTIONS??
P.S. - I'm in the Rockville area and willing to travel to Northern VA area if necessary.
stained concrete. Any members out there have pro/cons on any of the floor tile brands (RaceDeck, Gladiator, etc.)? Thanks in advance for your input! :eater:
