    12 year old spark plug wires.

    In the old days we would shut the lights off in the garage, start the engine with the hood open and look for leakage from the wires, They would arc against the engine if they were bad. If you have a problem at 3000 rpm, rev the engine up and have someone check for leakage. Simple solution.

    I was at the auction and what I saw on the floor was a 94 with yellow rims and emblem. Windows were the standard windows in 94. Had the fiberglass top but standard ugly canvas windows. Was not impressed with the shine on the car. I have seen better.

    Changing brake fluid and bleading

    To bleed the master ABS fluid, change the fluid in ABS reservoir then take the car out and slam on the brakes. The abs actuator valve will open up forcing the fluid out and pulling in fresh fluid. Pretty simple and it works.

    If you have a full service paint store, they can prepare a can of OEM color paint for you. I was surprised our local store could do it. Not cheap though.

    Corvette owners get together every Saturday nearby. Thought I would have fun and take my 2001 RT10. Nicest group of guys. Guys with the ZR1 were extremely friendly. Thought I would get a bad time but that was not the case. Good people.They even shared their donuts with me.

    I had the brake fluid changed a year ago but do not think they cleaned out the ABS unit. Now I see a discoloration in the brake fluid. If I were to just replace the fluid in the brake reservoir, would that eventually purge the ABS unit? I do that with the clutch and it works but not sure about...

    Harbor Freight has a 1/2inch 18 volt impact wrench that works. Comes in a case and normally is $139 but now I see its on sale for $110.I have one and it works for me.

    Campers use Irish spring soap. Just put a bar in the garage and they should disappear. They do not like the odor of the soap. It also works in getting rid of Voles.

    If you are in the market for a Viper

    The description of the car does not match the car. The exhaust tips are not original. The description says it has a spoiler, under the hood light, folding mirrors and the list goes on. Just thought I would point this out. I would definitely want to see this car in person.
