97 GTS temp seems to getting high? Help
I would not jump to conclusions just yet..read on.. Your temp is not that high. Take my advise, use a pyrometer on the radiator neck to see the" real number" temperature. You will find the dash gage can be off by as much as 5-15 plus degrees .. Below was the temp # on my gage, but the...- AAKVIPER

What is the 1 gen rt 10 rev limiter RPM set at?
What is the rev limiter on a Gen 1 RT 10 set at? 6,000 or 6,200 RPM. Is it a fuel or ignition or both cut off? Thanks, Arthur- AAKVIPER

I had my head gaskets done two year ago and so far no problems. But I have a craze question. The area in the pictures were the bottom part of the head meets the block is only a water galley right? I added red arrows to the area in question. So no oil can ever seep put of these areas right...- AAKVIPER

And this statement "viper will get its ass handed it" by what data? Just by the fact you think it might beat the Viper, in spite of real world data? And that you have seen a 12 c race on you tube modified to run mid 10's at 135..Not logical, but you can believe you want.. One thought..can a 12...- AAKVIPER

The 12C is a mid-10s car that traps mid-130s..not what I have seen...it is a low 11 sec and 129..maybe 130 MPH..data proves it.. I have not seen one touch over 130 MPH without chancery afoot.. To many independent tests put the data at 129.00 trap MPH- AAKVIPER

If you think the Viper Gen 5 will get beat..with no evidence and just what you think and heard. God bless you. You should maybe get into a Gen 5 Viper and try one out. Funny how no one talks about road course dominance of the Viper over the 12C.- AAKVIPER

You raise a very good point. The future of sport's cars will not only be sequential manual transmission for the US at least, but all wheel drive.
