I saved my old rear tires thinking I could make something out of them, end table, seat etc. Was going to use them as yard art and grow potatoes in them but every year I'm too late to start that.
I have 3 rears I need to do something with before I just plain get rid of them. So any ideas?
The drivers side has been under the roof 2 times in the 4 years I've had it. The passenger side never has. It broke without warning. Drivers side has made the noise since day one of me owning the car.
I have a 15k mile car, pass side is needed it's 2 second one that i know of and drivers side has mins left. So congrats on not having this issue, but the rest of us are not that lucky.
I've been reading about the broken trim part on the top of the door. Mine has been like that since i bought the car, so guessing mine will be on the 3rd regulator when i replace mine this spring. 15k miles on mine. my drivers side has been going out since i've own it.
I have the small Alum low profile one from Harbor Freight for a few years now. Works great.
If you don't want to spend the money drive up on on chunks of 2x10's and then most regular jacks will work.
For $10k more you have one with less miles and no work & new tires, not sure it was worth the price unless you make your own body kits and needed a donor car.
Venomiss, That's the problem people want to pay the accident or history prices only those are the cars that are selling. I have a accident free car and they still want to spend $30k for it. Not sure what to do. Guess wait till spring and see if someone is interested. I've done the 2 big sites...
Car was listed in Sept the first time. I bought my car on new years 08. So people still buy in the winter look at all the newbie posts.
Yes this time of year the buyers are much slimmer I agree.
I've tried ebay at least 6 times for my Viper. Zero luck. Everyone wants to offer $30k because they saw one with 3 times the miles and needs a few things for that so they think all vipers are worth that. I've only had brokers interested for buying low so they can make $8k or more. I tried...
I though I saw years ago where people were able to repair their broken ones. My pass. side took a dump right as I parked the car for the winter. So come spring I'll be ripping my car apart. My driver side one has been screwy since i bought the car in 08. Looks like I'll be using that Christmas...
2003, 15,500 miles, red w/ black stripes. brand new non run flat tires & black chromed rims, corsa exhaust, was just professionally glass coated. asking $42,999 obo
I bought mine from a dealer.
Now trying to sell it 4 years later. It may end up at a dealer because not having any luck selling it. Autotrader and ebay have been a bust so far.
I have two bad ones on my 03. Driver side has been bad since i bought the car. Passenger side just took a crap daughter put window up a few times on a trip and it broke awesome. 15k miles is bad.
