Yes, also can SRT resurrect the Aggressive Gen IV Grill or a Reasonably Similiar grill on all models. Of course I want a Gen V ACR to replace my current Gen IV ACR
Without the full length stripes it frankly makes the stripes on the SRT worthless & certainly not worth the money. IMO Stripes on any Viper have be FULL LENGTH OR NONE AT ALL. If I was purchasing an SRT, it would not have stripes.
Don't be concerned. If Dodge doesn't offer any, I would bet that the Aftermarket Suppliers are going to come up with replacements for the 13 SRT/GTS Grille.
Your problem is you are not a CAR GUY LIKE ME, BUT ONLY A Blind Sided MOPAR GUY. You really should appreciate all American Muscle cars. I realize that this is a Viper site, but anyone that bashes the ZL1 with 580 HP & the 2013 GT500 with 662HP is just a MOPAR GUY. The Challenger SRT8...
Overall I think the car is great but to me the FRONT VIEW OF A VIPER NEEDS TO LOOK MORE MEAN. When I look at the front of a Muscle car/Viper I want it to look "BAD A***. It was that way on previous models. I am not sure why that changed it on this model. Maybe they are trying to look like a...
I am surprised that with over 1150 views, only 101 members entered the Poll. I would like to see & I am sure that SRT would like to see HIGHER POLL NUMBERS. I am sorry to say but I forgot how to compute the number needed for a "Representative Sample". Not sure if 101 member voting is a...
I going to go this Saturday, but I usually show up about 5:45AM since I like to park along the front curbing where the coffee/snack carts are.
I would certainly like to see a few Vipers on that front curbing but you have to be there by 6:00AM otherwise there is no room left...
Autin,
I agree you 100% & that is why I will keep my 2008 Viper ACR & hope when the NEW ACR is Revealed the FRONT Grille Area will be changed or maybe some aftermarket vendors will solve the issue.
At Pebble Beach someone in the SRT Area mentioned to me that the SRT would be priced between 94k-100k & the GTS would be 100k to 120k. I don't believe the GTS amount starting at 100k, however the SRT seems about right. I was actually surprised that anyone at SRT would mention price.
Now that we have a thread regarding members waiting for a Convertible, I would like to know how many are going to wait for the ACR Version. I currently have an 2008 ACR & there is a 95% chance that I will be waiting. I like what they done to improve the overall quality of the Viper...
+1 I have a problem with the Grille. No Grille would probably be better like they did on the 2013 GT500. I wonder what it would look like with the standard Dodge Crosshair Grille.
I would like to see the comparison with direct Head shots. I still feel my Red 08 ACR looks looks more aggressive from the front than the Gen V, however I don't know how to load the pictures side by side.
I have an 2008 ACR & I think the GRILLE on the Gen V looks "Mickey Mouse" . The Front of the Gen V does not look "agressive enough! This may be a small point but I like the car to look wild from the front. The Grille & the face of the 2008 thru 2010 Vipers & ACR were more "Bad A**". In fact...
I have a 2008 Viper ACR- Red with a red Drivers Stripe & when I first saw this Viper Model on the Front Cover of Autoweek Magazine in Oct-Nov of 2007 I immediately decided I wanted the car. After seeing the Gen V, at least the Non-ACR version I don't feel the same way. I would not sell my...
I don't believe that Dodge would think they could increase the price that much. However, if they did it would make my decision easier. I would keep my 2008 Viper ACR that I paid 97k & not upgrade. Also, 2012 ZR!'s with the upgraded interior have an MSRP of 124k but they are mostly being...
You Will Be Suprised! If There Is A Will (car Nut) There Is A Way. I Am 68 & I Don't Have Any Problem Getting In Or Out Of My 2008 Viper Acr.
In Fact I Have An Deposit On The New 2013 Viper:)
