nice pass welcome to the 10 sec club.
do you kow about what rpm you were at passing traps. I am putting gears in shortly trying to decide between the 55's or 73's
Appartenly there is no good option that I know of for 20" drag radial which really sucks. I am thinking about getting a 19/20 combo and would really like to go with a drag radial. I have some 18" rims I am running DR's on they hook so good I hate putting my stock rims and tires on because they...
Yes that is me, went 10.61 last year on a 80 degree day, was not able to get out in the fall ripped my knee all up on the dirt bike pretty bad could not drive for months
Have not taken pictures of the car yet right now I have 18" OZ rims on the front looks great but the back still looks a little redicluse with the hoosier drag radails they are on about 25" tall couple on inches shorter then stock. I ordered some tires today (Micky Thompson) which are about the...
Been waiting to buy some coilovers for quite sometime did not want send close to 5k but also wanted a quality product. I was just about to pull the trigger on the MCS resovior coilovers when they came out with a single adjustable non-resovoir unit (el cheapo). Well they came in last week...
What is the best method to remove these links? I am installing new coil overs and need to remove the front links and do not want to mess the threads up
I agree 3.73 is a great gear considering it myself the tall factory gear these cars come with is a joke.
I believe rim diameter has nothing to do with gear ratio it is the tire diameter that matters. You could have a 15" rim with 25" diameter tire or a 22" rim with a 25" diameter tire and the...
I have been looking into buying 19/20 and trying decide on tires and these are the diameters listed on the manufactors website. If what is listed is correct the nitto is a shorter tire then the stock michilen 19" which would make for a lower gear ratio all things being equal.
Looking at the tire specs it looks like the Nitto is 26.65 diameter and a PS2 345/30/19 is 27.2 diameter. I could be wrong on the diameter but if not your would be actually running more then a 3.73's
Just checked mine manufactor date 6/08 so I must have the solid axles I hope. I run drag radials 75% of the time and make it to the dragstrip several times a year running consistently in the 10.6 range. Makes me feel a little better but I will be upgrading axles when I upgrade rrear...
I agree with this but I would also have to consider doing the deck lid as well, or call it a day and wrap the hood in matt. By the way that is one bad ass looking snake.
