How hard were you on the clutch for this part to break? Not suppose to happen on a new track oriented car .
Is your car the only reported incident of sudden clutch failure lock up?
Get all over Dodge about this. They owe you an answer.
Good you made it better & stronger now.
Yes, I'm aware of that.
Just looking to hear more metrics/data for the gen4 heads & cam with mopar controller.
Any wideband A/F data for part & full throttle verify how good the mopar controller responds to a modified gen4 motor? Was a A/F gauge installed on the car?
And what about...
Some good advice from Roe Racing.
Roe Racing: FAQ
Many good recommendations here to calm down the occasional Yahoo!
Scroll down and pay particular attention to info on using a supercharger on a higher compression engine with factory pistons and the one about having modified heads...
Is that really a fair claim to make. Can you prove that?
Here some Girodisc development info... For what it's worth.
I'm sure if Gyro does the design they specify the material alloy.
About Us!
I'm not sure if Gyrodisc has there own factory that manufactures the brakes in America but since...
I'll keep it real simple for you.
with a 700hp crank motor and 10 cylinders thats 70hp/cylinder.
Hp can be written in terms of force as
Hp = Work/time
Hp = Force*distance/time
Hp = Pressure*Area*distance/time
Area of piston, distance & time (rpm) remain constant.
Therefore
Hp...
Well for any particular motor from a hp perspective increasing the volume of air going into a cylinder via efficient flow and increasing compression ratio slightly or solely increasing the air pressure into a cylinder via forced induction has the same effect of increasing hp.
If I can recall...
Thought it be neat to post these Greg Good Gen3 Race Ported Heads and extend my thanks to Greg for the craftsmanship & effort that went into these heads. A labor of love indeed.
Greg tested these heads on 4 flow benches in Houston making from 335-345 cfm @ 0.650". Cam valve lift is 0.610" if...
I think I may have misquoted the 9.1qt
I used 10 qt oil with the new filter and I thought that was a bit high as measured by the dipstick. I think the dipstick fluctuates 0.5-1.0 qt high bar to low bar. Been monitoring the oil level allot and it has been holding very stable.
I thought 10.5...
While at A&C Performance for pcm fix, I took advantage of the extra time I had off work and Todds great tech Herman installed these for me.
Girodisc Rotors (2 piece slotted & zinc washed) with Ferrodo DS2500 brake pads. I choose natural alloy finished hats rather than black anodized.
I...
Just to review. A couple months back i posted as having part throttle issues with my built all motor & SCT... noticed poor response & some lag.
I knew it was a pcm or sensor or tune thing.

Well I spent the day at...
These results are as expected.
The ZR1 needs a tune...The 599 really lights up right outta the factory.
Good to see with little modification ACR gets much faster.
A new TPS was installed at time of built motor about 8 months ago and it was set properly.
I'm not sure if it's the TB but my car does buck a bit. I like that seems normal. I've had other cars that did that a bit too.
Yeah I thought the same thing and installed a new interstate battery 3 months ago when I started noticing the ignition startup "hiccup".
Seemed a bit better fir a short while but ultimately didnt help.
It's unusual because motors is just about to fire, then it cuts out, then it fires up...
Well i got part throttle issues.
Anyone had poor part throttle issue and know possible causes?
Its a lazy part throttle..noticeable car is dragging at part throttle at all rpm mostly in 3rd & 4th giving foot pedal 1-5inches of throw.
Laying into throttle slowly car aint pulling real...
Great Job!
Enjoy your All Motor
With so many All Motor build underway,
time may be right to get a 700+ Viper All Motor Website started...
or at least a dedicated VCA section on 700 All Motor Builds to further fuel this passion, with info & pics & stories.
You should just get more data...only way to know... everythings relative and measurements scales are easily & often shifted.
Searching & quantifying data for good benchmark helps us stabilize expectations. Have your tuner show you other cars dyno numbers on his dyno, or find dyno numbers of...
Its not appropriate to assume this until you know more about your tuners dyno. Is the dyno generally "high" or "low". Typically a dynos most valuable test is before and after gains from modifications...there not all calibrated to be identical....4% between dynos for 600rwhp is 25rwhp...
You may want to ask your tuner for further interpetation of those numbers.
Gen4 with headers, exhaust and Mopar controller dont make numbers that high.
Yeah well maybe lay out an oil selection for each different Viper motor build, the cars application, the environment and frequency of change intervals....that will take the selection down to XYZ....sounds like another spreadsheet!
I have enjoyed reading Toms oil tech posts...who doesn't
