Any wheel company (CCW & Forgeline are two of my favorites) that you "should" be dealing with will have all of the wheel measurements worked out for you already. Just be sure to decide if you will be upgrading your brakes at some point in the future. You don't want to go crazy with a huge lip...
I use the Omega 29023. It's big, heavy, and long, but very low and can get under almost anything. It's not cheap. The place below is where I bought it and usually has the best price, but shipping is expensive...
These are pictures from Dave6666's old DIY covering fluid changes before the pictures were removed. Hopefully he will not mind me re-posting these.
The pictures show the pointed adapter my previous post referred to. I use these parts to vacuum bleed and rarely spill a drop. The key is to only...
It has a hole in the end that you can insert a pointed tip into. I use a vacuum, clear line, and pointed adapter in the hole. Just start the vacuum insert the adapter and loosen the bleeder. Go slow at first and keep a close eye on the reservoir.
It is right above the hydraulic line. You'll never find it if you're looking for a small bleeder screw. It has a black plastic sleeve almost covering the entire bleeder, but you can still get a small wrench on the end of it to turn it. The whole shaft will turn inside the black plastic sleeve...
To the OP. If you had a 708 cam and headers it would sound much different. It would sound like mine in the first video below. You can clearly hear the difference between your exhaust and mine. Yours is much more tame partly because of the stock exhaust manifolds, but mostly because of the cam...
It's difficult to tell from the youtube video because the file you uploaded appears to be a wmv. This means that the video was converted and compressed not once, but twice. Once going to wmv and twice going to flash/youtube. Each time loses quality. Can you upload the original video file or...
Can you elaborate regarding specific quality issues?
Is the quality not good or the playback is not smooth?
Where was the camera mounted?
What settings were you shooting with?
I usually use 720p at 60 fps. It gives me a wide field of view and smooth video because of the higher...
Based on your quote, you sound like you are going into this with caution. Maintaining that caution and a healthy fear/respect of the machine will serve you well.
Here are a few of the statements that are usually made for new/potential owners like yourself.
NEW TIRES! NEW TIRES! NEW...
With that tire size, you are probably not at 60 mph when you take your tachometer reading, even though your speedometer reads 60 mph. Unless of course you can verify that you have a Unitrax, yellowbox, or some other speedometer correction device installed and properly calibrated.
Are you sure you are not confusing the compressor and condensor? Your post mentions compressor, but your shop manual reference mentions the condensor. That could be the source of some confusion.
The flywheel in the photo from the link is aluminum with (steel I think) inserts for the clutch surface.
The Chromoly flywheel from DC Performance is one piece. That is the one I installed when I did my clutch.
I don't know if I would call it a chick car, but I understand what you are getting at. I like many others was eagerly anticipating the new design, but was left with a very underwhelmed feeling after the debut. I just can't quite put my finger on any one thing, but I felt like something was...
