I'm not finding a region forum that covers the Midwest, specifically Chicago area. I would like to get input from some local Viper owners for a performance shop to tune my '05 that has a new motor and the shop that did the work left me hanging on setup.- mxz900

Engine rebuild in Chicago
Just blew my motor this weekend and need to find someone local that knows the Gen3 motor, but won't cost me a ton. Any suggestions appreciated. Not sure what happened, but assume a couple cylinders spun a bearing (only because I had this exact same thing happen a couple years ago with this...- mxz900

Wheel Offsets
Anyone know what the wheel offset difference is between a Gen II and a Gen III is? If I run a set of Gen II's on my Gen III is there going to be tire sticking out of the wheel well, or vice versa, a gap between the edge of the wheel well and the tire?- mxz900

Brake Fluid Life
Just curious, when brake fluid heats up from hard braking is the heat in the fluid being absorbed from the rotors, calipers and pads alone or is there also significant heat generated from the immense pressure being put on the fluid? If it is primarily from the brakes themselves is it logical to...- mxz900

Turbo vs Supercharger
From what I can gather the turbo is the cheaper of the 2 upgrades (with respect to the units themselves - no internal upgrades) and has the capability of adding more hp (twin turbo options). I assume there is more lag with turbos. True? What is the seat of the pants experience with both...- mxz900
