    Steve, battery was brand new when I bought the car and it's on a tender all the time. Voltage is always up, car starts up right away.. Door lights work fine, shutting off after few seconds.

    Sold the Lincoln with 160K miles on it with not a single major issue. Yes, the Vettes were troubled with the headlight system. Had a 66 myself.
