The Gen 5 is the best Viper yet, no doubt. Is the Gen 5 the best car for the money? If you have a solid product priced at a rate the market will bear, you will create demand which translates into sales. A product needs good marketing to gain customer base, marketing needs a good car to gain...
Company by the name of Kosman Specialties widens and enlarges wheels. I have them do motorcycle wheels all the time. For example we send a 17"x 6" rear wheel and have it enlarged and widened to 18" x 13". Their work is 100% legit and looks factory when they get done.
What happened to Kris is just a shame. The guy bought a new Viper and his treatment and loaner cars were laughable. SRT, if you want to capture the dollars , treat people correctly and fix their problems. Kris, don't blame you for your decision enjoy your ride, I would have done the same but...
Never take 2 spots no matter if its a 1/4 mile from the nearest car. I look for an end and or spot next to a median and hug the non danger side. Be glad you didn't get keyed by the dummy to prove his point.
Best thing they can do is let the Viper program go. The Gen V is not the car that would bring Viper into the forefront like 1992 or 1996 when Chevy was content and exotics were not near as cool. The car needs complete new technology and design from front to back top to bottom. People are now...
Gen 2 will have 50 more HP and a few more creature comforts over Gen 1. Good luck and by taking advice and looking at many possibilities you will find a car that fits what your looking for!
The only mod that would raise questions is a bolt on spoiler that is not factory. Everything else you mentioned is personal choice and can be changed easily. If you are looking for a collector car that has the original plastic on the seats, obviously this isn't the right car. If you want a Viper...
The car is worth a flight to one of the top dealers that know all the options inside and out. Spend the day asking questions and learning about the car. Then order it and it will be delivered to your door. What a great way to start the buying experience!
"Let's start fresh" that sounds like a perfectly good idea, the fresher the better. Members who have been following this soap opera understand what I'm saying.
Why do you think there are so many low mileage Gen 1 and Gen 2 cars? They just do not make great daily drivers. Gen 3 and 4 are much more dd friendly so there are more miles put on them. Think of your routine every time you park the car. A Gen1 will really cramp your style when late to a meeting...
To me having the cornerstone Vipers would make a great collection versus a truckload of each gen in different colors. After the cornerstones are in the collection, diversify a bit. There really are some great collectable cars out there including the Viper. Its their money spend it how they like...
