so we had some good weather yesterday. so went crazy on this. all painted yellow, wheels full black, all back together
just need the paint smell to leave before it goes next to my bed. one day i will own one
well progress on this stopped a long time ago. lol. and the model got thrown in my loft.
well today i decided to pull it back down and use it as motivation to get myself an actual viper.
this will get sanded back and re painted yellow. sorry nadine, yours is still the best (if its still around)...
that is a chop of a gen 5 with gen 3/4 interior/boot lid/top of doors/rear bumper
i think it looks great.
although he could have done slightly better with the proportions
clarkson loves the viper. when top gear tested the gen3 vert he gave it a good reception overall. and during his video when he tested the gen3 coupe yes he raced it against the z4 but it was a draw. where all the rest he did lost to the european counterpart
im surprised hes not driving this...
slightly off topic, but its forza 4. you can do livery designs really well in the game. so someone will have made it look that way then filmed himself. it takes a long time of uploading but its a great game/tool
a few of mine

:) i think im probably gunna be better off cutting a full vinyl image, and sticking that down. then painting the gold. it worked well with the centre bit (posted above) but didnt fancy weeding it all out to do the rest of the scales
thanks nadine, means alot.
atm the project has stopped, i ran into some problems trying out some snake skin (abit like you i rushed straight in rather than testing on something else first) so it needs sanding back abit :(
ill find some motiviation this week and get back on track
ok, two glaring mistakes. first is i forgot to set camera to macro so it hasnt focused :( sorry
second is my masking was turd (or its bled abit) but either way it looks good from a distance
