It's supposed to have Dex3 in it. that was factory fill.
I just had to replace my tailshaft seal and I put my short shifter in at the same time. i drained and refilled while i was in there and used DEXVI synthetic. Shifts much nicer, and exceeds all the specs of Dex3.
Looks like the exact same top I have on my full size trans jack. I hate the damn thing, but it always gets the job done. I haven't done a Viper with it yet, but it's seen many a T56 as well as the zf6 out of my f350 dually etc. I wouldn't hesitate if it's cheap.
always always always check the old filter for the gasket. Same kinda rule as never put the drain plug back in unless you have the wrench in your hand to tighten it.
I'd take an F40 anyday, but the viper is the most shockingly comfortable and well built car i've ever had. I love everything about it. I usually sell my toys off pretty quick, never keeping one for much over a year. I don't think I could sell this thing.
Well there might actually be a correlation... If memory serves me correctly the rear diff mount is on the cover? I'm guess the half shaft snapped from wheelhop, which also disturbed the seal of the cover due to the mount being on it. Was a common problem on the cobra platform I came from. Are...
anybody successfully mounted / dismounted a 345/30/19 rear tire on a Hunter TC3500?? I have this machine at home and I REALLY don't trust anyone locally to do it. I was hoping for some tips if anyone here has done it.
