Did that make a noticeable difference for you? Having sat in a 2013 with the seat all the way down I felt like I had to duck a bit in order to look out of the windshield.
I sat in one this morning and I need more headroom. I'm 6'0, 31" inseam and kind of spiky hair lol. Anyway I had read here that some screws and/or washers can be taken out to allow the seat to sit lower in the car, thereby creating an additional inch of headroom. Has anyone here done this...
If I can get a GTS for $95K I might just have to reconsider a Viper. Right now I have an order in for an M4 which will come in @ $80K. I sat in a Viper last summer and posted up here that it didn't have the best headroom and felt real cramped inside.
Went to a local dealer to check out the Gen V as I hadn't seen one in the flesh. Nice gray color with no stripes GTS model, high 130's sticker. I walk inside to the showroom and was immediately greeted by a sales guy. I walk over to the Viper they had a 'do not touch' sign on the window, the car...
FWIW many avid Porsche track rats swap their CCB's for steel. CCB's are lighter, have a higher longevity on the street but they squeak and they are obscenely expensive to replace. They also have to be handled delicately. A wheel change by a nonchalant tire monkey can ruin them.
