03 SRT/10 Takes first in the Shoot Out.....

I just got back from the Silver State Classic.
They did a "shoot out" this year, Top speed in the half mile and top speed in the mile was the winner - both were Vipers!
I ran my 01 Z06 which I felt good about getting 161.5 in the standing mile - all on motor!

An 03 SRT/10 took top honors at 132 mph at the half mile! (headers only) and a GTS with NOS and Turbos did 182+ in the mile!

I did the 140 mph class this time for the main event on Sunday, it was awesome!
I came in 3rd in my class and I was only .44 of a second off from a perfect time (that's less than a half of a second off!)

Marko was there with his Comp Coupe as well.

Nice to see that the basically stock SRT-10 took top honors -- if it had 3.55 gears its actual perfomance most likely would been hotter. Thanks for sharing and also a congrats on the run with your Z06.

Nice job with your ZO6!

I saw the results, and it looks as though Vipers owned the event!
The winner of the 1 mile was a Twin SC Viper(DC perf.), and I don't think it was using NOS. Either way 182+ is fast!!

Did anyone hear if there was any TT Vipers there? I would love to hear how they did!
