How grippy are these compared to ps1's and ps2's?

Also is it better to go to 19's and 20's so you can get ps2's and give up some side wall, or is it better to stick with 18 and 19s and run ps1's on gen 3's and getting a bigger side wall?

I'm happy with my pilot sports (18" front, 19" rear), they look awesome on the car and the larger overall diameter in the rear fills the wheel well better
