6th gear problem

6th gear is probably too low for that speed.

unless you have different gears, you are close to idling at that speed. if you need to accelerate, put it in 4th or even 5th.

That's right, my 94 with stock 3.07 gear in back, needs to be at about 78 mph before I can go to sixth and still keep the rpm up to 1400 or so. I don't let it go under 1400.
I've got 3.55 gears on the way.
