Last weekend a few of us took advantage of what was probably the last warm&sunny weekend of the year in DE and headed up to the Dover Air Force Base AirMobilityCommandMuseum for a meet. They have over 20 planes on exhibit. A few inside the museum, and the rest outside with many of them open to walkthrough the cargo area & cockpit. If you like airplanes, you could easily spend a few days here looking everything over.

When one of the volunteers that works there saw our vipers in the parking lot he told us we were welcome to drive amongst the planes if we wanted to takes pictures. He didn’t have to say that twice. I had my friend’s DSLR camera with me and was ready to shoot as many pictures as these planes had shot missiles and bullets.

Nice, that camera takes great pics! I really like the one of the RT/10 and 2 GTS's up close from the sides. The last one is really sweet too!

Glad to have met you all, it was really fun, even though we were all about to die of hunger for a while there. =D

Also, that was my first Viper meet/cruise I have attended so I look forward to more! It's too bad I go to Korea for 2 years in a few months.

Nice Museum! I see a B-29, and a C-47 and a C-141 and several other COOL old airframes. Great that you could drive right up. I think the 133 is one of the UGLEEEST old workhourses ever! And your pic cut off the ugleest part, maybe on purpose? MATS livery does show the Viet-Nam era some of us know too well.

Great Trip........ DAFB can be such a sad place.............

Very nice, Where are the Gen3/4 cars located?

haha, very funny.
It was in the backround of many other shots... Thought it would be like where's waldo, but those pics didnt make the top cut.

Dang kelly! I was going to type the exact same thing almost word for word! Scary. Must be a Friday 13th thing.

Nice shots! Like the red GTS with black roof! Never seen that before. Looks good. :)

Nice pictures. First thing that came to mind when I saw the yellow vette in the background lurking was childhood memories when I wanted to come out and play with the big boys and they said no. So I stayed in the background watching. sniffle...sniffle...sniffle.

Thanks! I just couldn't stand it being plain solid red. I had to do something and this is what I came up with... not to mention some spots where it was painted black wasn't very pretty, previous not so careful owners.
