You'll get a pretty good idea of what times are possible, and modifications are listed. Bottom line is stock Gen II car with a good driver and good track conditions: high 11's.

Add slicks and a few bolt-ons: low to mid 11's. Not bad with a stock motor!

I'm sure there are exceptions, but most seem to need forced induction or motor mods to get in the 10's.

This car now has upgraded cylinder heads installed and will be dragstrip tested tomorrow nite should the weather and my schedule hold. We will, of course post results.

1BAD is right. I know he always mentions Evan, but he is a truly professional driver (which is the reason why the car mags hire him for their 1/4 mile tests). I witnessed him send a 2000 bone stock GTS down the 1/4 in 95 degree HUMID weather in 11.9! ...and he made it look easy!

I think the point that Joe (oops, I mean 1BAD) is making is that any Viper with 450 HP is capable of 11's... you just have to be good.....REAL GOOD!

One thing I noticed is that Evan does NOT even chirp at the line...he almost lets it go as though he's accelerating from a Parkway Toll! All the magic happens after it hooks up.

it's all about the first 60'.... the first few times out with mine were nothing but 12's....

after getting the launch down, I was getting consistant 11.6's on pilots...

1.9 60' times my very first time ever drag racing. Check out my best of 8 runs below. I think the car is very capable of 11's but then again, I'm far from stock.

11.65 @ 120.3 on P Zeros. Only mods are Heffner air box, smooth tubes, K&N's, smooth tubes & T&D rockers.

Another TPI car we did was Sean Ogburn's 1997 GTS driven by D. Wilks at the Viper Nationals. Using our custom two-stage NX system on a stock engined GTS with Headers, Cats, 3" exhaust and polished throttle bodies, Wilks yanked a [email protected] on BFG KD radials.

This system is a custom 175 shot initial and 200 secondary stage system. The first stage activates off the line at WOT and the second on a switch in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and whatever else you want. Sixty foot times were a best of a 1.58 and an average of 1.64 seconds.

We plan to build a complete "Plug & Play" nitrous system that requires NO splicing of your factory wires. Just simple hook ups. Stay tuned for more soon or see you at the track.

I just brok into the 11.52's range 1.725 60 ft a 4.866 330' 1/8 mile 7.465 94.26 mph 9.693 1000 ft finishing at 11.5 @ 121.38 temp 71 Realitive Humidity 6 and Absolute Barometer 29.66 This to date is my personal best.​
