The front wheels take the weight of the... well, front. Cornering forces are such that you can lift the inside wheel, meaning all the weight and side force are on one front suspension system. I'll bet the suspension is plenty strong enough to be lifted up like that.

The only problem I'd see is how do you get it in there and to the other side in the first place? Ants crawl under the car with the strap?
