I checked and didn't see my old DRL article in Illustrated Upgrades so I did another Daytime Running Lights modification on the new 2000 Viper ACR I just bought in Phoenix. It took 10minutes and all it cost was a 3" piece of used wire.
I took pics and ran a thin wire between the low beam (no fog lamps on ACR) and ASD Relays. When the key turns on and the Automatic Shutdown Relay receives power to start the engine the same cicuit activates the low beam (Fog on your Viper?) Relay and Daytime Running Lights are ON!
I wrote it out and took pics which I sent to moderator Lelsie to cut and paste into the Illustrated Upgrades section. Enjoy
