I'm still on the fence on the 2003. A local dealer has offered me $500 for my certificate. Has anyone else received an offer?

LISTEN to Chuck! He's right on the money! There is more to "the plan" to make sure the certificates don't "float" around!!!!!

Official Word from Dodge:

"The certificates are non-transferrable.
If someone other than the person to whom the cert was issued attempts to utilize it to place a deposit, the cert will not be honored."

The certificate program was specifically set up to allow US to enjoy the added privilege of having first shot at these awesome Snakes! Any misuse would only threaten our close relationship with those that truly care!

I assume if a dealer did buy the car before delivery, that it would then start the warranty period, make the eventual buyer not the first owner (i.e., not able to get a certificate in the future if Dodge does the same program again), etc.?
