Door release button not working right ??

My exterior door release button is acting sporadic, it stopped working sunday night then worked once yesterday opening the drivers door once then didn't work again. The inside handle is working fine so I was wondering if anyone has run across this problem and there is a simple answer or if I have to dig deeper. Thanks for reading!

Micro switch or door harness.

Use high pressure air to blow out the switch. Spray with WD-40. Blow out again.

Could also be broken wires in the door harness, were they go through the ribbed boot between the body and door? Everytime you open and close the door, you are bending copper wires. Most Vipers have or will have this problem!

Thanks for the input guys!
My micro switch was fine and I had power to it so I knew the problem would be my signal wire. Couldn't find the break or cause so I just jumped a link from the switch to the corresponding wire on the latch harness and working perfect!!!

Glad to hear you got it working. Since our cars are the same year, I may be having to deal with this soon.
