I was wondering if the later tube style exhaust manifolds on a generation #2 are a direct fit replacement for the early style cast exhaust manifolds on a generation #2. I seen a few weeks back that some one power coated a set and they looked great. This would be an easy way to help out the breathing and look great for little cost.

I know they save like 35lbs in weight, some say good for about 5HP. I have heard that the Gen I's need to cut a little off the flange to make it work and I want to say that the GEN II's are a direct bolt-on, but call Chuck Tator, he may know for sure. Are you looking for a pair? I'm selling a set for $150 (off a 2001).
