By any chance would someone know what the coil bind value on stock gen 3 springs is? I've done some math and guessing based on the specs that are available in the service manual, but I'm not sure if that's fully adding up or not. The design uses ovate wire that's 0.166" x 0.208" and it claims 7.25 coils in a spring. Assuming the thinnest section of the wire (to allow for the most lift), that would give me a fully collapsed value of 1.2035". With an installed height of 1.75" that's 0.5465" of lift before coil bind, which seems like it could be right. My understanding is the stock lift is around 0.515" and the comp coupe lift is something like 0.535", so it would seem like this is a close number, but didn't know if anyone had ever measured it themselves before.
