I just did mine last night and I was amazed at how difficult it was to undo. But I did it with 2 openend wrenches. Took me four tries to get me to use enough force, but it will losen, you just gotta crank on it!
Dodge swears no robots asembling Vipers and I believe them. Must be one big guy though.
BTW I found the shift knob to make a world of difference. Scared the sh*t out of me on my first 1st to 2nd shift this morning. Thought I knew how to drive the car, back to school I guess.
Shifting at 5200 I used to see the tach drop all the way to 3000 between shifts. With the MGW knob revs never get below 4000. What a difference! Not bad for $80. Not bad at all.
